Bupa, the leading international healthcare provider, has appointed Yasmin Jetha as its new Chief Information Officer, with responsibility for Bupa’s global IT function. She will take up her position in October and will report to Ray King, Bupa’s Chief Executive.
Announcing the appointment, Ray King said: "Yasmin brings to Bupa an impressive track record in the IT industry. She will play a crucial role as Chief Information Officer in driving forward our IT function and identifying opportunities for technology to enable growth and support our business priorities."
Yasmin is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the Financial Times where her responsibilities include global IT services. Prior to this, Yasmin was a board member of the Abbey National Bank, where she was responsible for a number of functions, including IT.
In addition to her business life, Yasmin is Vice Chair of the University of Bedfordshire’s Governing Body, and also Vice Chair of the National Committee of the Aga Khan Foundation (UK), a non-denominational charitable organisation.
